Travis Kelce makes $100,000 donation to families affected by the shooting in USA

Unfortunately, we hear more and more sad news, and of course more disastrous if what seemed to be a lot of happiness due to the victory of the Chiefs in the Super Bowl 2024, quickly turned into one of the scariest things that people could live and that is that a small party was held in Kansas City due to the victory of the team. After this global event, people were extremely excited, but then a shooting started that took the lives of several people.

The GoFundMe page states that on Friday, Travis Kelce gave the Reyes Family two $50,000 donations through his Eighty-Seven and Running Foundation. CNN was able to validate the donations with a GoFundMe representative. Kelce’s contributions are in line with those of his famous partner, Taylor Swift, who sent two $50,000 contributions to a GoFundMe in support of Lisa Lopez-Galvan, the victim of the shooting.

“Sending my deepest sympathies and condolences in the wake of your devastating loss. With love, Taylor Swift,” read the messages accompanying the posts.

As stated in a tweet, the team donated $200,000 to the charity in order to “support victims and their families, violence prevention and mental health services, and first responders.” The gunshot injured twenty-two more people, half of them were under the age of sixteen. While they are still looking for the culprit, investigators believe that a disagreement may have precipitated the shooting. Two minors are being held by the police as they investigate whether there were any additional participants.
