Prince Harry became a trending topic after he landed in the United Kingdom for the first time in a couple of months to visit King Charles III. The Prince’s unexpected visit relies on Buckingham Palace’s announcement regarding the king’s cancer diagnosis, which made Harry fly from the United States to his hometown.
The Duke of Sussex has embarked on a short trip to Vancouver for the One Year to Go of the Invictus Games, which are going to be celebrated in 2025. The Prince had a convo with ABC News about what’s next for the games but also, what his first thought was after the shocking announcement from his father.
“I jumped on a plane and went to see him as soon as I could. Look, I love my family. The fact that I was able to get on a plane and go and see him and spend any time with him, I’m grateful for that.”
Prince Harry also declined to comment on any further information about King Charles III’s cancer diagnosis, which is still undisclosed. The Prince seems willing to start a new chapter with the royal family despite the multiple differences between them, as he confessed he wants to see his family again during the next U.K. trip.
