After the great controversy over the update of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex website, Meghan Markle stands by the designers due to the criticism about their use of royal titles, despite Prince Harry and his wife resigning to have a quiet life away from British royalty.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle resigned their royal titles and duties in the British monarchy in 2020, later moving to Montecito, California, to raise their son Archie and the later-born Lilibet. Since then, the family has remained distant.
The former actress recently gave a statement to the digital agency Article in which she seems to be defending the designers of the website for using the Prince and Meghan royal titles and insignias, whom she has known for several years.
Meghan said they have been working together for a decade and highlight their “attention to detail, their creativity and care, and the thoughtful approach to design as well as to the user experience” naming their great strengths.
The Duchess previously worked with this company for her lifestyle blog ‘The Tig’ in 2014, which she closed in 2017 months before getting engaged to the son of King Charles III. She also shared, “They’re a very special company. Plus, they’re Canadian, so I’m a fan“.
