Rumors of the possible cast of a new Fantastic Four movie began to roam the internet a few months ago, but now, the studio has decided to reveal the names that will take this new project on screen and the truth is that we do not dislike it at all.

The cast of Marvel’s highly anticipated Fantastic Four revival has been revealed: Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn. The movie, which centers on four superheroes with various abilities, is scheduled for release on July 25, 2025. Marvel shared the news on Instagram with a Valentine’s Day card. Matt Shakman will direct the movie. The Fantastic Four, created by writer Stan Lee and illustrator Jack Kirby in 1961’s Fantastic Four No. 1, the comic that would kick off the Marvel Universe, are a mainstay of the Marvel mythology.

“Happy Valentine’s Day from Marvel’s First Family! Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn are The Fantastic Four,” the post was captioned.

Kirby will be Sue Storm (The Invisible Woman), Pascal will portray the group’s leader Reed Richards (Mister Fantastic), Moss-Bachrach will play Ben Grimm (The Thing). Quinn is going to portray The Human Torch, Johnny Storm. Let’s remember prior Fantastic 4 cast included Jessica Alba, Ioan Gruffudd, Chris Evans, Michael Chiklis, and later Michael B. Jordan, Miles Teller, Kate Mara, and Jamie Bell.

Last year, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige told EW that he expects the Fantastic Four to be:

“A big pillar of the MCU going forward, just the way they’ve been in the comics for 50 or 60 years.”

“Fantastic 4 is the foundation for everything that came after in the comics,” Feige said in 2023. “There’s certainly been versions of it [on screen], but never inhabiting the storytelling of the MCU. And that’s something that is really exciting for us.”
