From his Sandringham estate in Norfolk in eastern England, King Charles III, and his wife, Queen Camilla Parker, arrived at Buckingham Palace by helicopter. Last week, the royal household announced that the king had been diagnosed with cancer. As a result, the monarch canceled his public appearances. Last week, the king underwent his first cancer treatment. On Sunday he visited Sandringham Church.
Recall that King Charles III recently released a statement talking a bit about what was happening to him.
“As all those who have been affected by cancer will know, such kind thoughts are the greatest comfort and encouragement.
“It is equally heartening to hear how sharing my own diagnosis has helped to promote public understanding and shed light on the work of all those organizations that support cancer patients and their families throughout the UK and the rest of the world.
“My lifelong admiration for their tireless care and dedication is even greater as a result of my own personal experience,” he concluded.
Undoubtedly the royal palace is not going through the best moment, and with the health problems that several of its members are having, one could feel that they are breathing in the attention and are concerned about the true state and future of the crown.
Let’s remember that at the beginning of the year the princess was also involved in an abdominal surgery that caught everyone’s attention. Then, King Charles III announced that he would have a treatment on his prostate, and now the cancer issues would be invading the family. Let’s hope that the royal family has a good time of rest and that the health of all members improve so they can continue their reign in peace….
