King William V, the monarch name for Prince William that resembles a former reckless British King

Prince William is the next in the succession to the throne after King Charles III abdicates or passes away. The Prince already had the name of King William V, however, the name holds an ungrateful story behind the late King William IV.

King William IV was considered one of the most extravagant also known as Sailor King and Silly Billy because of his attitude. Although his reign only lasted seven years from, 1830 to 1837 after being crowned at the age of 64 years. The King was completely rebellious and a party animal because he never thought he would heir the British throne.

Because of his reckless attitude, he has been hugely compared to Prince Harry, who stepped out from his royal duties along with Meghan Markle to seek for a calmer life in the United States. However, King William IV tainted the name completely in the British monarchy and now that Prince William could ascend to the throne in the next couple of decades, the name is resurfacing online.

Hopefully, Prince William is going to try to mend King William IV’s perception among the British people and be recognized as one of the best monarchs of the United Kingdom, instead of following William V’s steps.
