Tonight is the biggest night for NFL fans, the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers will face off at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium. In addition, Usher is set to make a 15-minute performance at the 2024 Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show which will likely break records and which has made BTS’ fans, better known as ARMY, buzz of excitement due to Jungkook’s possible involvement.
The Golden Maknae and Usher released a remix of Jungkook’s debut album’s title track, “Standing Next to You” on December 15, 2023. At the time, the collaboration’s performance video caught everyone off guard as Jungkook had enlisted in the South Korean military in the Army’s 5th Infantry Division on December 12, 2023.
Despite that, Jungkook has always been known for having tricks up his sleeve, and tonight might be the ultimate proof. On February 8, 2024, Apple Music released a new promotional video titled “Where’s Usher? Apple Music Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show” where the American singer can be seen dancing to the beat of “Standing Next to You” in the last few seconds and creating a fuss on social media.
This scene alone was enough to drive ARMY crazy, which immediately assumed that Jungkook might appear together with Usher to perform “Standing Next to You” during the Halftime Show. Although Alicia Keys is the only confirmed guest for one of the biggest performances of the year, surprises are limitless when it comes to BTS.
