Steve Aoki throws pie at top North American official

DJ and producer Steve Aoki is known for his work in the electronic scene, he is also famous for his live performances that include visual elements and special effects. Aoki incorporated in 2011 to his show a ritual in which he throws a cake that became very viral until in 2015 he released “cake face” song that he uses when he throws the cake.

The deejay’s victim was a mayor of Mexico during hir visit to her city’s annual festival. The videos on social networks show the official with a “cake me” sign, a prerequisite to participate in the producer’s symbolic performance.

Steve Aoki closed this important event with the coronation of the Carnival Kings, Dharma and Irving at the Ah Kim Pech forum on the night of Wednesday, February 7. During his performance, the American DJ not only surprised the spectators with his incredible show, but also with his traditional style of cakes, which was born from a promotion of his album “Autoerotique”, where he explodes dozens of cakes in the video, which became a gesture of affection for all his fans.

The mayor was happy to receive an iconic cake in the face. Before you suspect there was a problem, the truth is that the cake was received with the best possible attitude. Because the mayor of Campeche had a sign that said “Cake Me, Steve”, as can be seen in several videos posted on social networks, the DJ was really very obedient.

Undoubtedly, wanting a Steve Aoki’s cake is quite an experience, and if not we can ask this North American official about the experience he lived during the concert of the famous DJ. What do you think of it? Would you like to get caked?
