One of the most awaited films, without a doubt, are the proposals offered by Disney. In this case expanding the world of princesses. The story takes place two millennia ago on islands in the South Pacific. The main character is Vaiana Waialiki, a young girl who wants to explore the world by sailing the ocean. She is the only daughter of an important captain who belongs to a family with several generations of sailors.
The film was a huge success, grossing $643m worldwide and nominated for two Academy Awards and is undoubtedly a crowd favorite. During the earnings call, Iger also disclosed that Disney+ has obtained the streaming rights for Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, which will debut on the service on March 15.
