The successful film company Disney has surprised its followers with good news by announcing ‘Moana 2‘. They also delight the public by revealing the release date and first preview, which has many fans of this production excited.
On Wednesday, February 7th, Disney Animation made the announcement that ‘Moana’ from 2016 will have a sequel that will premiere in November of the current year 2024. They also confirmed it with new images of the upcoming movie on its official YouTube channel.
The revelation was first made for the CEO of Walt Disney, Bob Iger, during an interview where he said, “We can’t wait to give you more of Moana and Maui when Moana 2 comes to theaters this November“.
The synopsis for the upcoming movie follows another adventure of Moana, Maui, and members of a new crew who join them in a new journey to the far seas of Oceania, getting into dangerous and long-lost waters after receiving a call from her ancestors.
The ‘Moana’ franchise seems to have been working productively for these years, as it was also confirmed a live action inspired by the first movie, which will count with the participation of Dwayne Johnson in his role as Maui on June 27th of 2025.
