Recent reports have claimed that the real origin of Prince William and Prince Harry‘s feud is not the youngest brother’s wife, Meghan Markle, due to the fact that the royal members have other disputes in their relationship related to charity work.
Although, in the public eye, the feud between the sons of King Charles III comes from the marriage of the Duke of Sussex with the American actress, new reports assure that the two had many differences before the entry of the Duchess into royalty in 2016.
According to a new article from The Times of London, the royal brothers had a discussion about what was the best way to address the conservation of African wildlife, which was assured by many royal palace sources.
A source told the media that both Prince Williand and Prince Harry are very “passionate about saving protected species but didn’t always share the same view about how to run projects in Africa“, and by having different ideas for action over the problem, they haven’t maintained a good relationship for a long time.
While William “believes you should focus on community-led schemes“, his brother Harry thinks they would need “a more hands-on approach to ensure wildlife habitats are securely protected“.
According to revelations by the Duke of Sussex in his memoir book ‘Spare‘, they don’t seem to agree yet, as he wrote that when mutual friends asked them why they wanted to work in Africa, William said, “Because rhinos, elephants, that’s mine!“.
