The renowned singer Demi Lovato caused mixed reactions on social networks after she performed her famous song ‘Heart Attack‘ from 2013 at an event for people with heart problems of the American Heart Association on January 31st.
In the event ‘Go Red for Women Red Dress Collection Concert 2024‘ which took place in New York, the singer included in her 10 list songs the controversial theme, which she thought she wouldn’t be able to sing again after experiencing this heart problem.
However, Demi Lovato gave it another opportunity and shared with the public how much it means to her, and despite the fact that this song is about the end of a relationship and this “intense feeling” of love, it is “a reminder for all of us in the room just how strong the mind-heart-body connection truly is“, said the singer.

For their part, many fans and netizens on social networks shared their disagreement with the song for that kind of event. Someone said that “‘Heart Attack’ should have been left off that list” due to how a great part of the public suffered from this problem.
While some others defended the artist for her decision in her set list after her own experience due to an overdosing in 2018. The American Heart Association also supported the performance of the song ‘Heart Attack’, and it was also well received by all attendees to the concert.
