While Kenny Rogers is the only presenter to have heard his name called out as a winner when “The Gambler” won Best Country Vocal Performance, Male on the show in 1980, Noah is the fifth Grammy presenter to be nominated in the same year. Noah previously received a nomination for Best Comedy Album in 2020, hosted by Alicia Keys. Noah will host the Grammys for the fourth consecutive year on Sunday. The former host of “The Daily Show” said he loves the unpredictability of the show.
“I don’t know what’s going to happen. That’s what I love about the Grammys, that they’re live, on the fly,” Noah told “CBS Mornings” co-host Gayle King in an interview for the “Road to the Grammys” series.
The Grammy gala will be held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles and performers include Joni Mitchell – in her first Grammy appearance – Olivia Rodrigo, SZA, Billy Joel, Dua Lipa, Luke Combs, Travis Scott and Burna Boy (with U2 broadcast from Sphere in Las Vegas).
