On January 29th, good news has arrived for fans of DCU productions, as it has been officially announced the cast of ‘House Of The Dragon‘ star Milly Alcock as Supergirl in the upcoming movie of the franchise ‘Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow‘.
The director and co-CEO of DC Studios, James Gunn, confirmed her participation in the project through an Instagram post with a screenshot of Deadline’s article over the news, for which he wrote, “This is accurate“.

“Milly is a fantastically talented young actor, and I’m incredibly excited about her being a part of the DCU. Yes, I first became aware of her in House of the Dragon but I was blown away by her varied auditions and screen tests for #Supergirl. She embodies Kara as envisioned by @tomking_tk, @bilquis and Ana Nogueira“, he added.
Later, he shared his post on his Instagram stories and wrote “Welcome to the DCU, Milly Alcock!” making all fans of the actress and the franchise followers excited for the upcoming project, whose screenplay was written by Ana Nogueira, according to Gunn’s revelation on November 2023.
