The favorite villain of animated movie lovers is coming with ‘Despicable Me 4‘, and he excites fans of the franchise with the release of its first trailer, which is now available and shows a preview of what is going to be about the next installment.

The production company Illumination shared that this upcoming installment will tell the story of Gru welcoming a new member to his family, Gru Jr., who, according to revelations, has an ‘intent on tormenting his dad“.

In addition, Gru will have a new rival called Maxime Le Mal, who will be voiced by Will Ferrell, and his “femme fatale girlfriend”, Valentina, voiced by the actress Sofia Vergara. But they are not the only new characters, as Joey King, Stephen Colbert, Chloe Fineman, and Madison Polan will also participate.

It also confirms the return of many actors in their roles, such as Steve Carrell as the main character Gru, Kristen Wiig as Miss Hattie, Miranda Cosgrove as Margo, Dana Gaier as Edith, Steve Coogan as Silas Ramsbottom, and Pierre Coffin for the minion voices.

The expectations for this new movie are high, as many are waiting for its premiere in theaters on July 3rd of the current year.
