We can’t deny that Ariana Grande is one of the most talented stars we know, so her participation in Wicked could be completely historic, and all of us fans can’t wait to see her in action and she herself has given us a little hint to keep us excited.
As she continues to post photos from the set on social media, Ariana Grande says she misses the time she spent filming the musical Wicked. The pop diva shared a behind-the-scenes photo of herself with castmate Cynthia Erivo on Instagram a day after sharing a photo of herself in the role of Glinda the Good Witch.
Erivo, who plays Elphaba (the green witch), called the project and everything that came with it “the greatest gift I could have ever asked for” in a heartfelt Instagram post on Friday
“I’ve been trying to think of what I would say when this day finally came, and I’m failing miserably, because there honestly aren’t enough words to fully express what this experience has meant to me, so I’ll leave you with this,” she wrote. “The universe will take things away to make room for the great gifts it has waiting for us.”
“THIS moment, this movie, these people, this cast, this crew, this director, my Glinda, have been the greatest gift I could have ever asked for, and I am eternally grateful for the opportunity to bring you this Elphie,” Erivo, 37, added alongside an image of her shadow on a stage. “I hope that when you meet her, you will love her as much and as fiercely as I do. And with that I say, it’s over for me, Elphie out!!!!! ???.”
