Sofía Vergara reacts to Griselda Blanco’s family lawsuit because of her latest Netflix series

Sofía Vergara has made a stellar comeback to the small screen with her latest six-part production, “Griselda.” The story of the Colombian cartel queen has fascinated everyone because of her great acting skills. However, not everyone was as happy as Vergara was, after the actress was sued by Griselda Blanco’s family, particularly her kids.

Vergara, along with the miniseries creator, Eric Newman are still promoting the show in different interviews. This time, Entertainment Tonight directly addressed the latest lawsuit from Griselda Blanco’s kids, who stated they stole several anecdotes and materials from a series of interviews they did over the years.

Eric Newman laughed about it because he stated that someone told him years ago that “you’re nobody until someone sues you,” which also made Sofía laugh saying, “Yes!” In addition, the creator also gives a deep view of his work with “Griselda” to shut the hate comments from those who support the lawsuit.

“It’s not my first rodeo. The Escobar family made similar claims. We had a very specific story we wanted to tell. I believe we told it, and I don’t think it in any way prevents someone else from telling their own version of it.”

Undoubtedly, Sofía and Eric Newman had such a great time talking to Entertainment Tonight, particularly mocking the lawsuit. It is probably not going to lift off anytime soon, as they are protected under American law for showing a criminal’s lifetime.
