The sad hidden meaning of the ‘Love Wins All’ music video starring IU and BTS’ V

In the new music video titled ‘Love Wins All‘ by IU along with BTS member V, there is a sad hidden meaning that has moved all the viewers of their interpretation released on January 24th KST, becoming a worldwide trend.

In the video, the two idols play a couple that is in a post-apocalitic era, in which they are running away from a big cube. During the whole production, IU communicates with his lover V through sign language, but some of her signs are not so evident for all viewers.

One of the most moving messages the female singer sent the idol was at the end, when the two were cornered by the cube, which was about to end their lives, so IU held V in her arms and put one of her hands on his shoulder, and she squeezed him three times over there.

This squeeze was defined by many netizens in social networks as a way in which IU tells his lover that she loves him, a really meaningful and sad sign to say goodbye to the person you love in a difficult moment like this, which made many fans shed a tear or two.
