In a press conference held on January 15th for the new Disney+ K-Drama titled ‘A Shop for Killers‘, the stars Lee Dong-wook and Kim Hye-jun talked about their chemistry on screen in their relationship as uncle and niece.
This story follows the life of a young woman who, shortly after entering college, receives the news that her uncle has committed suicide. Due to the fact that this man took care of her when her parents died, she decided to come back to the house where she used to live with him and dedicate herself to investigating the curious mall he ran.

“In the show, we’re uncle and niece, but on set, we’re very close friends, and we always felt at ease with each other. Sometimes on set, I could be very clumsy, and Hye-jun would be very energetically caring for me, so she helped me a lot while we were filming“, said the actor about the dynamic with Hye-jun on the set.
“I relied on him a lot. When I attended the stunt academy (in preparation for my role), I had a really hard time, and I felt that no one there was really on my side. But Dong-wook told me that I just shouldn’t get hurt and encouraged me to do my best“, the actress added about their strong bond.
