SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu confesses what his mother had to do because of how difficult it was to raise him

Recently, SEVENTEEN‘s Mingyu took all his fans by surprise by confessing what his mother had to do because of how difficult it was to raise him and how her wish came true when he started being a Pledis Entertainment trainee.

During the third episode of ‘Nana Tour‘, the idol said that before becoming a trainee, he got into a rebel phase in his adolescence, which made the work of his mother so difficult that she even went to the church to get rid of him.

When I was 15 years old, I got into the rebellious phase. She had a hard time raising me. She said she went to pray at church for someone to raise me instead of her. A week later, I was cast. Pledis raised me instead. I was cured instantly. I missed my mom and realized how precious she was“, said the singer.

Despite the difficult circumstances they faced after becoming a member of SEVENTEEN , Mingyu and his mother have maintained a good relationship. Due to their time apart during his training, they recognize the love they have for each other.
