For some reason the media loves to poll people to see how happy they are and it seems to have a big impact on royal families, as we have seen them starring in the biggest dramas even in series, yes, like in The Crown. Now, the British monarch is reportedly having popularity problems in the United States.
Support in the U.S. for King Charles has been on the rise.
But what does it matter that they don’t love him in the United States if they do love him at home, but we must remember that the bond with that country is now stronger with the simple fact that his youngest son, Prince Harry lives there next to his wife and children.
Although “politics” is the primary emphasis of US media, American Journalist Lee Cohen admitted to host Mark Dolan that some Americans would “like to see the monarchy suffer”.
Cohen shed light on King Charles’ role as monarch, since taking the throne in 2022, and how he is “still popular with Brits” today.
He told GB News: “He’s handled Harry and Meghan exquisitely well, because he’s handled them with deftness and with great skill and dignity.
“Which of course is in complete opposition to what they’ve been serving up to the Royal Family.
“So I believe that his dignified way of handling the Harry and Meghan turbulence has really paid off for him and bolsters his image here in the United States as well as in Britain.”
According to a commentator, despite his tense relationship with his son Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle, King Charles is still very much supported by royalists in America. What do you think about this? Do you think the prince deserves his popularity compared to King Charles III?
