Lindsay Lohan‘s rep told U.S. media that the 37-year-old actress was “very angry, hurt and disappointed” by the use of “fire crotch” in the film’s script, an insult that millionaire heir Brandon Davis and friend of Paris Hilton hurled at her in the early 2000s.
In 2006, Davis, now 45, went viral when he left a nightclub with sisters Paris Hilton and Nicky Hilton, and went on a paparazzi rant about Lohan’s intimate area, calling her “stinky,” “orange” and infamously dubbing her a “fire crotch.”
Paris Hilton, who was feuding with the “Freaky Friday” star at the time, laughed off the jokes, further fueling a years-long feud between the two women that lasted until recently.
However, it seems Davis’ old words still sting, as Lohan’s longtime friend and screenwriter of the old and new “Mean Girls” movies, Tina Fey, didn’t warn her that she would include the insult in the film.
A source also said Lohan was “angry, shocked and bewildered” when she first heard the reference at the film’s New York City premiere. Lindsay apparently had no idea about this, or at least that’s what her team said.
