Mean Girls 2024 is a box office success

The new Hollywood blockbuster Mean Girls is making a big hit at the box office, and it seems that the new generation accepted the new movie very well, even though it only has a 67% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. And a very successful movie at the box office. It is a movie that makes a production company happy, so the Mean Girls musical becomes a success that could be a reference for the other musicals that are about to come out

Why everything is better singing Migue’s new movie. It is a musical based on the Broadway play of the same movie released in 2004 and starring Lindsay Lohan. Now the movie gives us a new comedy proposal that has also been part of Tina Fey’s vision and has caused quite a stir in the new generation.

The current adaptation of ‘Mean Girls’, a cult film starring Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams and Amanda Seyfried in 2004, has taken the top spot at the U.S. box office on its opening weekend, grossing $28 million.  Martin Luther King Jr. Day competition over the holiday weekend included such releases as The Beekeeper, starring Jason Statham, and The Book of Clarence, a biblical satire produced by Jay-Z. There were also many award nominees that took advantage of the anticipation of the recent nominations and Golden Globes.

The new film, directed by Samantha Jayne and Arturo Perez Jr. and with a $36 million production, Fey returned to write and co-star. Reviews have been more positive than negative, with a 70% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, but CinemaScore has given it a B rating.
