Prince William insisted on taking an ‘awkward’ walk with Harry and Meghan after the Queen’s death

Due to a new royal book, revelations about the day Queen Elizabeth passed away have arisen, and one of the most surprising was that Prince William insisted on taking an ‘awkward’ walk with Harry and Meghan after the monarch’s death.

In the book by Robert Hardman titled ‘Charles III: New King. New Court. The Inside Story‘, the author shared how two days after the passing of Queen Elizabeth on September 8th, Prince William debates himself to pay tribute to her at Cambridge Gate on the castle’s Long Walk.

He said that the walk with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex “was very much William’s idea“, and “he had been giving it a lot of thought, and he said, ‘I know it’s awkward, but isn’t it right in the context of my grandmother’s death?“.

The walk lasted about 40 minutes, during which Kate, William, Harry, and Meghan, all dressed in black clothes, waved to the sad British people who were gathered to pay tribute to the late Queen.

The author added, “I don’t think either couple found it easy” due to the great controversies and conflicts between them, due to the Netflix documentary of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex that caused scandals in the British Crown.
