The Kpop scene has earned its spot worldwide because of the hard work of the idols to deliver quality and excellence at every release. Particularly from BTS’ Jungkook, Stray Kids, and TXT, who have received recognition in the 2024 People’s Choice Awards.
On January 11, the People’s Choice Awards revealed its list of nominations for the upcoming award ceremony. The way to determine who wins the categories is through votes by the general public, so this is not going to be a major issue for the Kpop fan bases.
BTS’s Jungkook earned an amazing four nominations this year including, “The Pop Artist of the Year”, “The Male Artist of the Year”, “The New Artist of the Year”, and “The Collaboration Song of the Year” for his solo debut single “Seven” featuring Latto. The hopes are high as in the 2023 People’s Choice Awards, Jungkook won “The Collaboration Song of the Year” for his Charlie Puth collab “Left and Right.”
Stray Kids and TXT are competing in the same category for “The Group/Duo of the Year,” so, their fan bases are going to have a healthy competition in the next couple of days. The 2024 People’s Choice Awards will air live from Santa Monica on February 18, and the voting is open on their official website until January 19.
