Suga confesses that the pandemic changed BTS’ military service plans

In the recent release of the documentary, BTS member Suga confessed that the military service the boys are currently making was a plan that the pandemic of COVID-19 changed due to the fact that they were scheduled to enlist in 2020.

On the last episode of the ‘BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star‘ documentary, which is important to highlight it was filmed before the members announced their enlistment, the rapper revealed that the world pandemic changed the plan for the BTS enlistment process.

Suga said that in that time the group would have a break of two and a half years to complete their whole military service; however, no one expected the COVID-19 pandemic to last as long as it actually did, and for that reason they did not enlist in November 2020.

For their part, on social networks, many fans have commented about how different it would be if the boys had enlisted before, due to how many fans around the world discovered the group in these days for their hit songs ‘Dynamite’ (2020), ‘Butter’ (2021), and ‘Permission to Dance’ (2021), and the achievements they got that led them to be a global phenomenon.
