Lil Nas X found himself in a new controversy due to the promotion of his next song, ‘J Christ‘, and he decided to respond to criticism for the alleged mockery of religion by posing on a cross with an explanation of his actions on his social networks.
On January 8th, the rapper posted on his official social networks the announcement of a next project with a photo of himself being crucificed, which generated great controversy on the X platform (formerly known as Twitter), receiving much criticism for the religious representation.

Between the critics, there were some loyal fans who praise his art and defend his acts; however, Lil Nas X decided to post an alleged acceptance letter to Liberty University, where he plans to attend to study Christian leadership and biblical studies, saying, “Not everything is a troll!“.
