When we heard that a new Mean Girls movie was coming out our feelings were quite mixed, and it is that many years ago a movie came out that became so iconic that to this day is the favorite of many. But the movie has also had its representation on Broadway and based on this play, we have a new movie with a completely different cast, but with a cast that will become very recognizable, and even Lindsay Lohan attended the premiere of this new movie.

New student Cady Heron (Angourie Rice) is welcomed to the top of the social chain by the elitist group of popular girls called “The Plastics,” ruled by scheming queen bee Regina George (Reneé Rapp) and her minions Gretchen (Bebe Wood) and Karen (Avantika). However, when Cady makes the grave mistake of falling in love with Regina’s ex-boyfriend Aaron Samuels (Christopher Briney), she finds herself in Regina’s crosshairs. With the help of her outcast friends Janis (Auli’i Cravalho) and Damian (Jaquel Spivey), Cady sets out to take down the group’s predator and learn to be true to herself in the most vicious jungle of all: high school.
