Jacob Elordi to replace Andrew Garfield in Guillermo del Toro film

Everything seems to indicate that the hype that Jacob Elordi is having is unprecedented, and it seems that he is the spoiled face of Hollywood, since after Euphoria, all the people have decided that they want to follow him, even though he gives us movies like Saltburn and Priscilla, but it is expected that after that streak, he can do something worthy with Guillermo del Toro.

Jacob Elordi to replace Andrew Garfield in Guillermo del Toro film

Undoubtedly, Guillermo del Toro is one of the greatest talents in cinema, and the Mexican has shown the great impact he has had on cinema, proving that there is no language for art and that it is still possible to make worthwhile films, but now the challenge is with Jacob Elordi.

The Australian actor will take the place of Andrew Garfield, who was forced to pull out due to scheduling issues caused by the actors’ strike, Showbiz411 reports. The film adaptation of Mary Shelley’s 1818 novel will be written, directed and produced by Guillermo del Toro. Christoph Waltz, Oscar Isaac and Mia Goth will star in this sci-fi thriller about a scientist who creates a human-like creature. During Pacific Rim’s 10th anniversary IMAX 3D screening, presented by Collider, the writer-director revealed that the film is the extension of a long-cherished ambition.

I’m making Frankenstein. We’re working on it,” he told the audience.
“We’ll start shooting in February, and it’s a movie I’ve wanted to make for 50 years, ever since I saw the first Frankenstein.
And I had an epiphany, and basically it’s a movie that requires a lot of growth and a lot of tools that I couldn’t have done 10 years ago.’
‘Now I’m brave, or crazy enough, or something like that, and we’re going to tackle it.’

What do you think about it, and do you like the idea of a new movie starring Jacob?
