The derogatory nickname used by King Juan Carlos I to refer to Queen Letizia

During the last few months, Spain’s royalty has taken a lot of reach worldwide, even UK media have begun to investigate in depth the Bourbon family and discovered a derogatory nickname with which King Juan Carlos called Letizia when she got engaged to the current King Felipe VI.

According to a report in the British newspaper “The List“, Juan Carlos derogatorily and denigratingly nicknamed Letizia as “The enemy within“, referring to the Trojan horse, as the liberal and progressive Letizia represented for Juan Carlos the opposite of the conservative crown of Spain.

According to him, he considered her to be his enemy because upon entering the royal house of Spain, Queen Letizia would begin to make changes that would take the Bourbons to a more progressive path, breaking with many of the traditions that had been established for years in the Spanish royalty.

To the surprise of many, the nickname of King Juan Carlos I was not far from reality, and is that the current queen of Spain has made many changes in royalty, completely overturning the rules of Zarzuela with a more humanitarian, inclusive and social direction.
