When we have bad times it is important to always seek some kind of help, it can be a psychologist, for mental help or a psychiatrist, sometimes it can be your friends, but there are people who choose to dedicate their life to the church, as they find peace and this could be the case of the famous actor Shia LaBeouf.
Shia LaBeouf enters the Catholic Church and ponders his vocation
On Sunday night, the Bishop of Winona-Rochester, Minnesota, Robert Barron, administered the sacrament of confirmation to Shia LaBeouf, thereby entering the Catholic Church.
“We are delighted to share that our dear friend Shia LaBeouf fully entered the Church this past weekend through the sacrament of confirmation,” the statement said. “The Capuchin Franciscan friars are delighted to welcome him into the fold and to witness his deep commitment to his faith journey.” “As Capuchin Franciscans, we believe in the transformative power of faith and the incredible impact it can have on one’s life. We are humbled and grateful to walk alongside Shia as she takes this important step in her spiritual journey.”
Undoubtedly this could be a new beginning for the famous actor, since we must remember that Shia LaBeouf’s career has had several complicated moments where he has been involved in issues that could affect him, to the extent that perhaps coming to the Catholic Church would be his best decision.
According to Capuchin friar Rodriquez, Shia LaBeouf first became interested in becoming a deacon while filming the 2022 film “Padre Pio.” He played the title role in the movie, an Italian Capuchin priest who became a saint.
What are your thoughts on this, and do you think Shia will find his vocation in the Catholic Church?
