Release date revealed for Minecraft movie starring Jason Momoa
Jared Hess, who has directed films such as Napoleon Dynamite, Nacho Libre and Masterminds, will direct the movie. Filming is scheduled to begin in the first half of 2024 and will be released on April 4, 2025. The video game, developed by the Swedish company Mojang Studios, was released in 2011 and, with 300 million copies sold, remains the best-selling video game of all time.
