A former employee of Buckingham Palace revealed the tension between the current monarch and the future heir, assuring that “Charles does not like to take orders“. He also expressed, “Prince William is not known for being a docile or empathetic person exactly“. With such strong personalities, it is almost impossible that there are no problems between them.

A source who claims to have worked for both has revealed the main work differences between the monarch and his son, stating that “If a close relative dies, Prince William or his wife would give you 15 days to process the mourning“. As for the King, he mentioned, “His office is stricter; you work non-stop; you may not even have a chance to go to the bathroom“.

However, the former employee also clarified, “The tension between the two and Prince William’s ambition can even be positive, because it shows his commitment, and he understands his rank, so he is very clear about his limits, as is his wife Kate Middleton“.
