Queen Camilla has decided to make all the royal followers say “aww!” That’s because she recently hosted a special party at Windsor Castle. The reason? Putting a smile on the face of a courageous 7-year-old blind girl named Olivia and her teddy bear, Corrie.
The moment was posted to Instagram, on the Royal Family’s official account. The picture described the lovely moment Queen Camilla and Olivia had together, saying “Last week, The Queen was delighted to be joined by 7-year-old Olivia and family for a special Christmas tea at Windsor Castle.” The best surprise? The teddy bear was a guest of honor at the tea party!
The snaps from this special event included Olivia introducing her bear to the Queen and holding a stuffed Corgi during their conversation. After that, the Instagram post concluded with some festive holiday wishes, hoping that Olivia would remain happy. “Happy Christmas Olivia — and thank you for all the joy you bring!” the picture said.
For some context, Olivia was diagnosed with a large brain tumor at 17 months, which led to permanent blindness. Despite this situation, the 7-year-old girl has faced her challenges with an unbreakable spirit and a smile. Even through difficult treatments like chemotherapy, her enthusiasm keeps shining.
