Princess Anne, known for being typically reserved, has recently spilled some tea about Queen Camilla. What’s the buzz all about? Well, the royal shared some insightful comments about her sister-in-law, in the new documentary “Charles III: The Coronation“. The film offers a new perspective into the preparations for King Charles’ big day and captures Anne’s thoughts on Camilla along the way.
The 73-year-old royal, Princess Anne, had to acknowledge Camilla’s significant impact alongside the new King. She also praised her for doing a good job in the role. While it might not have been a natural fit for her, Anne still noted how much she brings a refreshing change of pace and tone to royal duties. Here’s what she said:
“‘I’ve known her a long time, off and on. Her understanding of her role and how much difference it makes to the King has been absolutely outstanding.”
In addition, The Princess Royal also praised Camilla’s modern approach, mirroring Charles’s forward-thinking vision for the monarchy. This is especially evident as they’re both environmental advocates, who have repeatedly expressed their ongoing concerns about the current climate crisis and who have also voiced their interest in ecology, as an urgent need for progress.
The documentary already aired on BBC One on December 26th. Despite popular belief, this film depicts a much more relaxed side of the royals. For example, it features a light-hearted moment where Charles jokes about his “sausage fingers” while Princess William helps him with his robes.
So, there you have it, for the time being, Princess Anne only has good things to say about Charles and Camilla.
