The “N*ggas in Paris” rapper took to his Instagram to give fans a sneak peek of these Pods through a snazzy animation. You can see them transform from a compact bundle into wearable art. But hold up, because not everyone’s feeling the love for Ye’s new babies. Fans are raising eyebrows at the price of the sneakers, which can be purchased for 200 dollars. As of now, they’re questioning if these Yeezy Pods are worth so much money for such a simple type of shoe.
Now, let’s backtrack a bit: Kanye, who’s received backlash and made headlines, recently tried to apologize to the Jewish community, after making some anti-Semitic remarks a while ago. He stated that he would “Death Con 3 on Jewish People,” ultimately causing his split with Adidas, putting a temporary end to his sneaker collection.
