ITZY’s Lia donates to the National Cancer Center to help pediatric patients

ITZY’s Lia hasn’t had such a joyous year as other members of ITZY because of her anxiety disorder, which ultimately led her to a hiatus. Despite the idol’s inactivity in the Kpop scene, she is surely helping those in need as she has donated to the National Cancer Center.

On December 27, Seo Hong Kwan, Chairman of the National Center Foundation was glad to announce that Lia donated 30 million won, ($23,127.18) through her label, JYP Entertainment. This donation aims to help pediatric patients, and Lia herself utilized part of her income for the charity.

It was also revealed that Lia’s donation will be used to cover treatment costs for pediatric and adolescent cancer patients at the foundation. Particularly for those who are in need or are experiencing financial difficulties. In addition, a JYP Entertainment representative stated that they want to bring some warmth and hope to the children who are fighting illness during this cold season.

Undeniably, ITZY’s Lia keeps showing her big-hearted personality for always taking care of those who need the most. Despite that, Lia is not going to come back with ITZY for their new era because of her anxiety disorder. Still, her actions will be remembered by everyone.
