The renowned British actress Sophie Winkleman took advantage of her appearance on the cover of the February 2024 issue of Tatler to talk about her closeness with King Charles III, mentioning that for her, the monarch is a dear friend, worthy of admiration for his amazing commitment to the work he does.

Sophie revealed that “the king is a friend that I consider close; I usually spend some of my time with him; he is a very interesting person“. She also acknowledged that it is not easy to keep up with him, as he has a very exhausting routine. The actress mentioned, “He works all day, has a quick dinner, and then goes to write letters, so he disappears in the night and returns at around 4 a.m.“.

Sophie Winkleman is the wife of Lord Frederick Windsor; his father is a cousin of the late Queen Elizabeth. For that reason, the actress is so close to the royal family that she even confessed, “I see the royals as my friends; they are excellent people, funny, intelligent, and kind. I get along well with everyone“.

Despite her extensive relationship with the royals, Sophie has never strayed from her passion for acting; she even recently starred in the new movie ‘Wonka‘; however, her most relevant role was in the renowned TV show ‘Two and a Half Men‘.
