New photos of Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix in the set of ‘Joker 2’

The first movie of the Joker was released in 2019, offering a different perspective of the famous villain that also appeared in numerous Batman movies. It quickly became a box office success and spawned a fanbase of incredibly dedicated fans who were recently blessed with the confirmation of a sequel to the movie coming 2024.

The second installment will have the American actor Joaquin Phoenix and the American singer and songwriter Lady Gaga reprising their roles as the Joker and Harley Quinn respectively. It’s important to mention that Phoenix won the Academy Award for best actor for his rendition of the Joker in the first movie, and Lady Gaga was nominated for best actress for her participation in another movie, so the expectations regarding the quality of the movie are at an all-time high.

Now, with two new photos from the set being released online, the Joker 2 is once again the trending topic in social media. In one of the pictures, we can see Gaga’s iconic scared but in love face once again, while Phoenix still has his characteristic clownish make up on. On the other image, though the quality is not optimal, we can see the Joker in a cell.
