On Sunday, during the good night, an interview took place between Tucker Carlson and Kevin Spacey, who assured that he put Netflix on the map and that the platform turned its back on him since he was fired from the series where he had a leading role as the congressman who ascends to the presidency.
Kevin Spacey mentioned, “They wouldn’t be what they are without me; I put them on the map, and they tried to bury me“. You could notice the great dissatisfaction on the part of the actor, even more when the accusations for which he was judged turned out to be false; however, Netflix never gave him an apology.
Spacey had been accused of sexual abuse by more than 12 men; however, last July he was declared innocent after a long trial in the United Kingdom; likewise, in New York, he also had a hearing where it was determined that he was innocent of and did not sexually assault actor Anthony Rapp.
For that reason, the actor feels that he was judged and fired improperly for false accusations, as he said, “It was a bad decision to get rid of me, because there is no doubt that Netflix exists because of me“. Carlson mentioned, “They even made an attempt on your life“, and Spacey’s response was, “Neither that they could do it well“.
