Kanye West, the controversial rap icon, has just switched up the anti-Semitic narrative that’s been going around him. How, you might ask? Well, Ye posted an apology letter to the Jewish community, right before dropping his new album titled “Vultures,” in collaboration with rapper and singer Ty Dolla $ign. Could this be the peace offering he needs before releasing his new project?

So here’s that hot flipping tea: Kanye West, 46 and full of surprises, decided to take to his Instagram account to drop an apology bomb, all styled in Hebrew – talk about international flair! In the message, the “Famous” rapper expressed his regret for causing any “unintended” ouchies with his words or actions, swearing it wasn’t his goal to stir the pot or hurt feelings. Catch what he said:

“I sincerely apologize to the Jewish community for any unintended outburst caused by my words or actions. It was not my intention to offend or demean, and I deeply regret any pain I may have caused. I am committed to starting with myself and learning from this experience to ensure greater sensitivity and understanding in the future. Your forgiveness is important to me, and I am committed to making amends and promoting unity.”

With this, Ye might regain some of the audience he lost after his anti-Semitic comments, even if his apology came a little late. But hold up, the record isn’t going that well either, because Kanye and Ty’s new album has been playing hard to get.

After a few rain checks, Ye’s reps spilled that we can expect this musical feast on Jan. 12. Originally, it was supposed to hit our playlists on New Year’s Eve (Dec. 31), but hey, good things take time, right?
