One of the new cancellations that have been noticed is, as always, Kanye West, and is that all the press has been on him and his former family, the Kardashian clan, who recently published how they spent their Christmas and something that shone was the absence of Kim Kardashian’s ex. One of the most epic moments was when Ye decided to talk about the Jewish community and now he has no choice but to apologize.
Kanye West apologizes to the Jewish community.
A while ago something broke the internet when Kanye West decided to talk about the Jewish community, causing him to receive comments of disagreement and even lose millionaire contracts because the brands did not agree with his position and now, he has decided that it was time to apologize. Major companies like Adidas and Balenciaga cut ties with him after a series of offensive actions, including antisemitic remarks.
It was through an Instagram post that he decided to make the announcement, which has already been shared countless times:
“It was never my intention to hurt or disrespect, and I deeply regret any pain I may have caused,” his message read. Ye said he is committed to learning and ensuring “greater sensitivity and understanding” in the future, adding he is “dedicated to making amends and working toward promoting unity.”
While it’s unclear what prompted his post, it comes ahead of the expected release of a new collection of music titled, “Vultures.” And that alone reminds us of the criticism over the lyrics: “How I’m antisemitic? I just f**ked a Jewish b*tch.”
What do you think about it? Do you think the rapper’s decision was a good one? Are you waiting for more music?
