Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will spend Christmas in the United States away from the Royal Family

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s exit from the royal family back in 2020 is still a trending topic among the royal followers. The rising feud reached its climax in January 2023, after Prince Harry published his memoir, “Spare” attacking directly some members of the royal family. Despite potential signs of reconciliation, the royal marriage planned to spend Christmas away from the royals.

Earlier in November, it was reported that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex called King Charles III to wish him a happy birthday. This gesture was taken by royal experts and royal followers as the first step of reconciliation between the two parties. However, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle didn’t join the royal family for their annual Christmas celebrations in Norfolk.

This beautiful tradition was hosted by the late Queen Elizabeth II in 1998, so King Charles decided to continue this tradition in his first official year as the Monarch of the United Kingdom. Despite high hopes of a small reunion, the royal couple reportedly didn’t receive any invitations to Sandringham.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are going to spend Christmas Eve with Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, and their friends, according to US Weekly, they are going to cook, play games, and swap gifts. This might indicate the royals’ relationship with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex hasn’t healed at all.
