In the past few hours, it was confirmed that, due to security and legal issues, all BTS members were removed from The Camp‘s ‘Star Soldiers‘ list. This has the fandom very worried, as they are questioning the meaning of this action. Will there be no more updates for ARMYs of their idols?
The technician in charge of the platform, Jang Cheol Min, CEO of Enable Daon Soft, revealed that the website has recorded a huge increase in users since the 7 BTS members entered the military service, and since BIGHIT MUSIC, which has the advertising rights of the idols, misunderstood the function of the social network, they decided to remove them.
BIGHIT MUSIC assumed that the real intention of The Camp was to make money with the image of the BTS members, which would be illegal, but the platform has defined that its function since day 1 has been to provide updates about the soldiers to their families, friends, and followers since their communication with the outside world is very low.
It should be noted that The Camp is an official platform of the army to share updates on the status of soldiers; however, it was not prepared for the entire BTS fandom, and despite not being forced, it removed all members of the group, so there will be no more updates from the idols through this media.
