Recently, AJ McLean from the Backstreet Boys confessed what the real reason behind the band’s hiatus is, making it clear that it was not for any kind of conflict between any of the members; on the contrary, they are on excellent terms, even as assured: “We have our trip to Cancun next April“.

AJ McLean confessed to The Mirror that the reason is very simple: “We are taking a year off; after decades of success, this is something we all deserve“. And he also revealed, “Don’t worry, we still have a couple of unique things to come“.

The singer states that the intention to take a break to pursue individual projects was a joint decision.
