During a Q&A interview on November 15th, the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, reveals she won’t be giving an expensive Christmas gift to Prince Archie in the United States, as it seems that her eldest son is very clear about what he wants despite being only four years old.
According to Markle, her son has developed a fondness for photography, as he seems to have been inspired by Misan Harriman, the famous photographer who captured some images of the family of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who in turn taught some tricks on how to get good pictures to the young prince.
To help her son develop his passion, Meghan decided to give Archie a camera, but it was not as professional as the one Misan Harriman used. Upon noticing this, Archie commented, ‘But it’s not a Leica like Misan‘. In this situation, the Duchess of Sussex, a little annoyed, told him, ‘You will not have one of those even for Christmas‘.
It should be noted that at the time, these were the most innovative cameras on the market, being one of the first to include film inside to get the snapshots. These teams are professional and usually have a high cost; even in Vienna, a 1923 Leica was auctioned for 2.4 million euros.
