Pop queen and entrepreneur Rihanna had everyone gagged with her performance at the Super Bowl Halftime Show earlier this year. The performance showcased all of RiRi’s hits and displayed her charismatic stage presence, but there was one thing that caught the attention of fans and viewers… That’s right! Her baby bump debut. But get this – it was totally unplanned, and the singer-mogul recently shared all of these details.
It all went down at the recent Fenty x Puma event Rihanna held in Los Angeles, where she was celebrating her latest shoe collab with Puma. During the stylish event, Access Hollywood interviewed her, and our girl Ri spilled the tea on all those juicy Super Bowl details and her baby bump. And guess what? It all had to do with a little wardrobe misfunction, revealing the existence of Rihanna’s new baby:
“My jumper couldn’t zip up. No one knew I was pregnant — I just told my stylist, ‘Make sure it’s stretchy. The zip, it just stopped right there, so it had to be what it had to be!”
In the end, the “Only Girl (in the World)” singer’s outfit wouldn’t zip up, and even though she had told her stylist to make it stretchy, well, that didn’t work. Fast-forward to now: we were all surprised by the reveal of Rihanna’s second baby, who she had with rapper and hip-hop sensation A$AP Rocky.
And, oh! Rihanna’s hoping for a baby girl next time. She even joked that out of all the things she’s achieved, the only one that’s missing is having a daughter. “I’m batting at a 75% for a boy next time, so we’ll just keep our fingers crossed.” We don’t think that album is coming soon, but at least RiRi is a proud mamma!
