In the cover story of Glamour UK, which came out on Tuesday, December 19th, actress Sydney Sweeney speaks out for the first time following the death of her ‘Euphoria’ co-star Angus Cloud, who apparently lost his life to an overdose on July 31st, 2023.
In her recent interview, the famous actress confessed how she felt about her loss and the upcoming filming of the third season of the hit HBO series: “I don’t think his departure feels real or affects me until we’re filming, and I don’t see Angus on set“.
She also emphasized the great support she has received from her co-stars, who were “constantly on the phone crying, because it was such a shock“, she said, adding, “When we’re filming, we’re there for each other, but in a different way than when we’re apart“.
Finally, Sydney Sweeney reflected on the late Angus, who played drug dealer Fezco, saying, “It’s really interesting when someone passes away in our industry because they are still alive in many ways“.
For her part, the actress has had a very successful time in her career, as before she began filming the third season of ‘Euphoria’, she was busy working on other projects such as ‘Anyone But You‘, which premieres on December 22nd, and the Marvel movie ‘Madame Web‘, which will arrive in February 2024.
