Henry Cavill and Amazon will bring the Warhammer 40,000 universe to the movies

When we think of Henry Cavill, we think of Superman, who is part of one of the greatest universes in cinema, but now, he’s going to be on the creative side, being the lead on this project. So we’re very excited about what he can do on the side of Amazon, who recently closed the historic deal.

Without a doubt, the upcoming projects for one of the largest streaming platforms worldwide, excites us a lot, because we had already married with certain universes and certain actors who basically dominate the world with their movies, so a project like this universe is an interesting proposal that shows us that there are still many more possibilities for cinema.

Games Workshop revealed that the agreement in principle with the production company has been closed and it will be Henry Cavill who will be at the head of the creative area of the production, as he will apparently work closely with the writers involved.

“Now comes the fun part: finalizing all the creative details with our partners and writing the first script and putting it into production,” they explain from the publisher.

Although we already have news that the deal is closed, it is still not very clear to them how long it may take:

“It is not unusual for projects to take between two and three years to reach the screen. Still, things are already underway, and you can be sure we’ll bring you the latest news as soon as we can,” Games Workshop notes. So, patience is our best weapon at the moment.
