BTS’ Jimin announces ‘Closer Than This’ his new post-enlistment music

BTSJimin has sparked numerous conversations about his new steps in the Kpop scene, despite he is already enlisted in the military for his mandatory service. The idol is still reaching for the stars despite the distance and his music agency, BigHit Music, is pleased to help him reach his dreams.

The rumors first started after V, Jungkook, RM, and Jimin surprised the fans with a live stream on Weverse days before their enlistment. The idols assured his fans, better known as the ARMY, that they had some surprises coming to keep them busy during the next 18 months.

On December 20, KST, BTS’ Official Instagram account, posted a new video featuring Jimin with his trademark hashtag, “#thisisjimin.” Usually, the kind of content labeled with these hashtags is dance videos. However, this video had something new, and it appears to be new music from Jimin, the song in the background was an unreleased song of the artist.

The song was introduced as a heartfelt song that encapsulates Jimin’s genuine feelings for ARMY. “Closer Than This” is set to be released on December 22, KST, which surely is going to become a huge success worldwide.
